Last month a small group of our trainees got to join in an inclusive pottery workshop at Westlands Yeovil being run by Creative Clay For All .

Visit from Jade
This morning we welcomed Jade from the Fibreshed The Handloom Room who ran a workshop on understanding natural fibres and what can be achieved with them, from cotton to wool to nettles! The group also then used natural dyes from plants such as chamomile to decorate gift tags.

A group of our trainees were privileged to be invited to an Open Day at the world-famous Glastonbury Festival, just days before it opens to the public. The day was aimed at people who would not normally have the opportunity to go.

A new month and a new group get to visit Eastfield’s of Bower Hill. The first order of the day is to have a look around and if the trainees are feeling comfortable to have a go at riding….

A New Session…
We have set up a new session here at the Hub called Hub Maintenance. In this session our trainees will be learning valuable DIY, gardening and car skills, and through this helping to keep our Hub site safe and tidy.
