Dance workshop
We closed our Cafe and Scrapstore this morning and welcomed Jen, Joe and Anna from Also Known As Dance Theatre Company for a dance workshop. We wanted to ensure that our trainees had plenty of space to have fun and try something different.
Helping Others.
We love our Wednesday mornings at Prodigal Bikes , charity supporting charity, with another set of trainees learning a range of new skills over the course of the 8 week visit.

Every day is a GOOD DAY!
Every day is a good day at the Hub! We always ensure our trainees have fun and lots of variety whilst in a safe environment. We want each and everyone to become as independent as possible and to reach their full potential.
Our supporters are amazing..
Looks who’s just popped in…you may remember that earlier this year, Hub supporter Andy Jones undertook a cycle ride and raised over £1600 for the Hub.
What a wonderful community…
Today the community came together for the same goal. Led by Connie from Yeovil Town Community Sports Trust there was a great fundraiser at the Hub for three local charities - The Hub Yeovil, Yeovil Hospital Charity and Mind in Somerset as part of the fundraising activities for the Somerset 3 Peaks Tor to Town challenge being held on the 20th September.

Thank you to Northbrook - Training & Consultancy for coming to the Hub last Friday, our staff really enjoyed the training session.

Welcome Aboard!
Just 30% of autistic people are in employment. The Hub wants to play a small but important part in rectifying this shocking statistic! We are therefore proud and pleased to announce that we now have 4 trainees in paid part-time employment at the Hub.
Community Garden
The Hub continues to have a great partnership with Leonardo Helicopters. Our latest involvement was something completely different…
Giving our opinion…
Last week we had a workshop from some fantastic NHS professionals and representatives from Maldaba Ltd who wanted to trial their new software and literature re Annual Health Checks with a group of adults with learning disabilities.
When the customers are away, our trainees get to play!
This morning they've had free rein to create their own milkshakes to enjoy. From a classic strawberry milkshake to a decadent chocolate caramel milkshake
Last day :-(
Our trainees completed their last long shift at Glastonbury Festivals today, stewarding with Oxfam UK. So proud of them all for working so hard and being fantastic ambassadors for the Hub! What a wonderful experience and a great achievement for them all!
