It all starts with a Question…

After a trainee asked to learn how wood goes from a tree to a plank, we arranged a trip to our local sawmill in Martock to find out first-hand

We had a tour around the whole site and learnt about the various stages involved in bringing us the wood that we use in our woodworking sessions as well as the history of Yandles - Yandle and Sons Ltd.

There was also an added bonus of sampling the cakes in the cafe as well.
